Ad Hoc COVID-19 Sub Committee

Dumfries and Galloway Council have established a new Ad Hoc COVID-19 Sub Committee. This will be in place for as short a time as possible and we will review the position on a monthly basis.

The Sub Committee has responsibility for determining all urgent and/or important business relating to Non Statutory Exclusions and Council Committee and Sub Committee remits.

  • The Chair is the Council Leader and the Vice Chair is the Depute Leader
  • Membership is 4 Administration; 3 Conservative; 1 Independent; and 1 Socialist/Non Affiliated

The Sub Committee is excluded from the 'call in' procedure, so any decisions can be implemented immediately.
