Welcome to Dumfries Academy.

We are really looking forward to welcoming all our new students to our school.

Starting anything new can be a bit daunting, so to try and make things a bit easier, we have created a video presentation.

You will hear from your new headteacher as they talk about life at your new school. You will hear from some of the current first year pupils as they tell you all about coming to secondary school and the adventure that lies ahead. You will also get a virtual tour of the school so that you can have a look around your classrooms, playgrounds, around the halls and get a feel for your new secondary school.
