Community Benefits Wishlist

Dumfries and Galloway Council's Community Benefits Wishlist is a scheme which will allow local community groups to submit requests for support and link them with council suppliers who will offer to meet these needs through their community benefits proposals.

These requests may be financial or non-financial (e.g. professional advice, staff time or equipment donations) to support community initiatives.

What are Community Benefits?

Community benefits refer to a range of activities aimed at improving the economic, social, or environmental wellbeing of the Dumfries and Galloway region.

Our council is committed to securing community benefits from all contracts wherever possible and will require successful suppliers to work with us, as part of the delivery of the services, in transforming the community in a real and sustainable manner.

How to get involved

We invite local community organisations to tell us what type of support you need, which the council can help you with through the Community Benefits process.

This will contribute to the council's ambition to promote and support community engagement and ensure that the needs of local people and communities are at the heart of what we do.
