Budget Consultation
D&G Council is set to consider proposals to engage citizens, customers, staff and partners in the budget setting process for 2020/21 during November/December 2019. More information is available at Item 9 here . Watch this space for further information on what's planned.
It has been agreed that by the 31 March 2020, approximately 25% of the overall public convenience budget (£128,000) needs to be saved as part of the budget development process. This means we need to change the way we deliver our service throughout Dumfries and Galloway. Part of the consultation regarding this service review was direct discussions with our customers and staff who regularly use our facilities. See the following for raw data from our consultation with both these groups:
An update report was presented to Communities Committee on 17 September 2019 and can be viewed here (Item 14):
Mid Term Review of the Council Plan
Due to the present COVID situation the engagement programme on The Mid Term Review of the Council Plan is suspended. Information on the engagement that had been planned can be found in this Report to Dumfries and Galloway Council on 17 December 2020. You can also view the current Council Plan here.
