Planning and building
Update
Dumfries and Galloway Council as Planning & Building Standards authority is upgrading its existing application back office system. For the upgrade to be undertaken there will be disruption to the delivery of planning and buildings standard services between:
Monday 9 May to Thursday 12 May 2022
We will endeavour to keep disruption to a minimum but inevitably there will be some impacts while this essential work is being undertaken. We will be unable to carry out the following tasks:
1. We are unable to register any Building Standards or Planning; applications (all applications will be backdated to the date of receipt if received during the downtime period);
2. We are unable to issue any Building Standards or Planning applications decisions;
3. We are unable to issue a weekly list;
4. All documents relating to Planning Applications on the Dumfries and Galloway Council website will not be able to be viewed during this period.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you and thank you for your patience during this period.
