Waste and Recycling
Dumfries and Galloway Council is developing a new kerbside recycling service to be rolled out across the whole region in late 2020 or early in 2021. It is also proposing changes to the opening hours for Household Waste Recycling Centres. Over 5 weeks covering end of October through November last year we held a series of Community Conversation events, visiting every ward to explain the new service, to listen to ideas, comments and suggestions on the waste service and on the potential opening hours for the Household Waste Recycling Centres. Thank you to everyone who attended, and we appreciate your input.

Streetscene and Clean DG
We held Community Conversations across all Wards in Dumfries and Galloway in Spring 2019 on Streetscene and Clean DG. We considered all of the information gathered at these events and produced feedback documents which are listed below. The feedback documents set out where we are making changes and improvements to our service as a result of your input - thank you.
