A General Election will take place on Thursday 12 December 2019

Elections will be held for Members of Parliament to serve:

  • the Dumfries and Galloway County Constituency
  • the Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale County Constituency

Register to vote

You must be registered to vote by midnight on Tuesday 26 November in order to vote in this election. Registered voters are sent a poll card telling them where and when to vote.

How to vote

Vote by going to your nominated polling place, requesting a postal vote or nominating a proxy.
