Get rid of large domestic appliances

You can pay us to collect and dispose of large domestic appliances such as fridges and washing machines. It costs £37.87 for us to collect up to 3 items.

What we'll collect

You can use the white goods uplift service to dispose of:

  • fridges
  • freezers
  • washing machines
  • cookers
  • tumble dryers
  • microwaves

Double check we can uplift the items you want to get rid of when making a request.

Request a collection

Collection days

We'll let you know when your white goods will be uplifted so that you can have them ready for collection. Normally we make collections on the following days:

  • Annandale and Eskdale - Monday or Tuesday
  • Nithsdale - Thursday
  • Stewartry - Monday
  • Wigtownshire - Wednesday

You'll need to put items at your usual waste collection point by 7.30am on the day.

Alternative options

You can take white goods to one of the recycling centres across the region.

Some retailers also offer to take your old white goods if you're buying a new product.
