Potential development sites were initially identified by various methods, including:
Does the inclusion of a site mean that it will be developed?
No final decisions have been taken on sites contained in the site assessment document as further work may be required to determine their suitability for development.
What happens next?
The site assessments will be used to inform the next stage which is the Proposed Local Development Plan. It must be noted that the site assessments are a work in progress, they may be added to, updated or changed as further information is submitted (including comments to the Main Issues Report) as work progresses towards producing the Proposed Plan.
Where can I see the Site Assessments?
Paper copies of all site assessments will be available to view in all Council Libraries, Customer Service Centres and Council Planning Offices throughout the consultation period. Alternatively the site assessments can be downloaded from the list below. They have been grouped by settlement. Potential strategic business and industry sites that are not associated with a settlement are grouped together.
