A modern multi purpose centre which serves a very important purpose in Langholm.

The Eskdale Sports Centre is a dual use facility with Langholm Academy having the use of the games hall for their Physical Education classes, and then the hall is used by several local bookings in the evening. Some of these bookings include football, badminton, rugby and gymnastics.

The hall can also be used for birthday party bookings and has been used as a venue for social dances in the past.

The Fitness Suite has a range of different cardio vascular machines and there are also a number of weight machines as well as free weights available. There are qualified fitness instructors on hand to provide inductions and to write individual fitness programs as well as offering any advice.

There a range of different fitness classes at the centre, these are taken by fully qualified instructors and can be enjoyed as part of a membership or on a pay as you come basis.
