Libraries, Information and Archives offer a wide range of computer courses, of which, our ECDL courses attracts funding to help towards the cost of undertaking this training.

Individual Learning Accounts

ILA Scotland is a simple way to get up to £200 a year towards the cost of learning something new.  It is a Scottish Government scheme for people with an income of £22,000 a year or less or who are on benefits.  The money is not a loan - so you don't have to pay any of it back.

Learning something new could help you earn more money, get a better job or do something you really enjoy.  If you want to get back into learning then ILA Scotland can help you with up to £200 towards a wide range of courses.
