Many are partners in the Major Emergency Scheme and have developed their emergency arrangements in line with guidance provided by the Emergency Planning Team. There is an increasing need to agree arrangements for a co-ordinated response with a wider range of external agencies. To be effective these agreements need to be confirmed on a regular basis, to keep pace with the continual change prevalent in today's business environment.
