Glass Recycling

Dumfries and Galloway Council has a commercial glass recycling service in Annandale & Eskdale, Nithsdale and the Stewartry. The service is not available in the Wigtown operational area.

The service collects commercial glass waste for separated clear, brown and green glass (blue glass bottles can be included in the green glass wheeled bin).The charges for the commercial glass recycling service in 2012/13 are shown in the table below.

The charges shown are per bin, per uplift. For example three 240 litre wheeled bins (one bin for clear, one bin for brown and one bin for green glass) collected weekly would cost 3x£1.67 (£5.01) each week. The cost is invoiced quarterly in advance.
