Public information notices are announcements that local authorities are legally required to publish. Public Notices inform people of changes to services, such as road closures.

For an up to date list of all of the Roads notices published by Dumfries and Galloway Council visit http://tellmescotland.gov.uk.

Tellmescotland.gov.uk is Scotland's national public information notices (PINs) portal and publishes public notices from across Scotland in one location. You can click on a virtual map to see listings of public notices in any area, satellite imagery of their location and information on the issues involved.

The aim is to provide improved accessibility to enhanced statutory information.


You can view all Licensing notices online. Applications for the grant of Premises Licences, Provisional Premises Licences, Major Variations, Occasional Licences and Occasional Licences are published for each of the 4 Divisional Licensing Boards in the region - Annandale and Eskdale, Nithsdale, Stewartry and Wigtown.


Planning Notices are not published online but you can view all planning applications through our ePlanning section.
