The school is a whinstone building, which is listed as a building of Special Architectural or Historic interest. 

There is a fine monkey-puzzle tree, which stands in the playground, and this is incorporated in our logo. 

We currently have a maximum roll of 50 pupils split between two class bases.  There are two class teachers including the Head Teacher who is class committed three days per week.
