Further Information

The main school building (1931) has two classrooms, pupil toilets, store cupboards and the school office.  A computer suite (1991) has been used as a third classroom when required.  The original school building (1869) is used as a dining room / general purpose hall and has a kitchen where school meals are prepared daily.

The school places for 68 pupils and the trend over recent years has been pupil numbers in the low 40s. Close links are fostered with local playgroups/nursery and Castle Douglas High School so that all children are ensured smooth and happy transition at both admission and transfer stages.

School buses provide transport for the children in the catchment area.
