Borgue Primary School

Borgue School serves the community of the village of Borgue and the surrounding agricultural area. It is a long established school and celebrated the 200th anniversary of the present building in 2003. The school is partnered with Auchencairn Primary School.

The school has a strong reputation for high achievement within a caring atmosphere and a proud tradition, which is valued by its community.

It can boast MBEs, CBEs and Knighthoods amongst its past pupils and the poet, William Nicholson, was educated here.

The school is ambitious to continue this tradition and children are offered every opportunity to develop the skills and abilities they have and to take pride in their own achievements and the achievements of others.

Children are helped to value their place in the community and to feel they can offer something positive to it.
