Dumfries Ice Bowl

Dumfries Ice Bowl has a dedicated Ice Hockey / Ice Skating Rink and a dedicated Curling Rink. The facility is used by local and regional clubs and hosts national and international competitions.

Customer notice


There will be no public skating sessions on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 10, Thursday 11, Friday 12 (including Ice Disco), Saturday 13 and Sunday 14February due to the facility hosting Trophy D'Ecosse (International Syncro Ice Skating Competition)
  • Saturday 12and Sunday 13 March due to the facility hosting Dumfries Demons Ice Hockey Tournament
  • Saturday 30April and Sunday 1 May due to the facility hosting the Scottish Ice Hockley League (SIHL) Recreational Plate
  • Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 May due to the facility hosting the Paisley Black Hawks Ice Hockey Tournament
  • Saturday 4 and Saturday 11 June due to the facility hosting the Solway Sharks Junior Ice Hockey Club Competition - The Galloway Cup

Trophy D'Ecosse

The Trophy D'Ecosse ISU & Club International Synchro Competition 2016 will be in its 5th year and is fast earning a reputation for a popular, friendly and welcoming event - attracting teams in all categories from all over the UK, Europe and from farther afield!.

Dumfries Demons Ice Hockey Tournament - Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 March

Eight teams will battle it out over two days with the first game at 9am on Saturday; all games are 2 x 20 minutes.

Scottish Ice Hockey League (SIHL) Recreational Plate - Saturday 30 April and Sunday 1 May

Paisley Blackhawks Tournament - Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May

Eight teams will battle it out over two days with the first game at 9am on Saturday; all games are 2 x 20 minutes. Tickets available on the door.

Solway Sharks Junior Ice Hockey Club Tournament - Saturday 4 and Saturday 11 June

Mini Conference Area / Meeting Room

  • Suitable for small conference, seminar groups and meetings for up to 20
  • Limited audio/visual equipment available for hire
  • Teas, Coffees, etc available on request
