Further Information

Many classes are small at Maxwelltown High School and pupils benefit from the additional time and help staff give them.

We enjoy good relations with our School Board.  The members, in common with all the parents we meet, are quite sure their local school, Maxwelltown High, is providing a high quality education for their children. Parents and visitors have commented on the friendly but purposeful feeling about the school.  We work hard at achieving that because it is important to us to provide a caring, safe and productive environment for our pupils.

Maxwelltown High School is an important part of the community.  Close links are established with our associated Primary Schools.  This includes curriculum development and the provision of a range of activities for primary pupils as well as visits by staff to the schools.
