Ae Primary School is situated in the forestry village of Ae, two and a half miles from the main A701 road. It serves the community of Ae and surrounding rural area.

The school was opened in 1958 and consists of two classrooms, a General Purpose room, a kitchen, small dining area and ancillary rooms - staffroom, office, medical room and staff toilet. The main classrooms have a pitched roof and the ancillary rooms and GP room are flat roofed.

We have a tarmac and flagged play area surrounding the school building, with a bike shed and wet weather shelter.

There is also a playing field adjacent to the flagged area at the back of the main school building and we have access to the public park and football pitch next to us.
