Ancestry

Ancestry Library Edition is now available to use at your local library. This genealogy database is ideal for the family historian or the social historian with more than 5 billion names in over 4,000 collections. It offers a wide and diverse variety of unique content to help users trace their family lineage or help historians access historical records that have previously not been available online.

This resource cannot be accessed through your home computer but anyone wishing to access the website can do so at any library in Dumfries and Galloway.

Scottish Building Standards – Domestic and Non Domestic are now available online on the Scottish Government website.

After this year there will no longer be a up-to-date paper copy in Reference.
