Co-ordinated Support Plans
A child or young person may have additional support needs if they require additional support for learning for any reason. Some may also be eligible for a Co-ordinated Support Plan (CSP). This is a statutory planning document for those with enduring, complex or multiple barriers to learning who need a range of additional support from different services.
A CSP is only needed, however, when there are complex or multiple barriers to learning which need a range of additional support from services other than education such as Child Health or Social Work.
