The Meals on Wheels service prepare and deliver a nutritionally balanced two course meal which always includes a hot main course and either a homemade soup or a sweet. The service is normally provided three days per week.
Meals are prepared in school kitchens by staff from the DGFirst and are delivered by the The Women's Royal Voluntary Service.
Staff can cater for a wide range of specialised requirements, including diabetic, halal, low sodium and vegetarian. Any requests for special diets should be made in writing to Social Services who will forward them to the Catering Manager at the school providing the meal.
