Dumfries and Galloway Council publicise all current contract opportunities for works, supplies and services which are available to tender. We also advertise contract opportunities through the Official Journal of the European Union.

The Council is bound by the  Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2012 [390kb] and is committed to ensuring compliance with that legislation.

The Council advertise all contracts on the Public Contract (Scotland) portal.  The portal is a national initiative and suppliers can register to be notified of any new opportunities free of charge.

Approved Lists

Dumfries and Galloway Council no longer holds a list of approved contractors/suppliers.

Suppliers interested in quoting or tendering for business should register with Public Contract (Scotland).  It is free to register, you can set up a company profile and be automatically notified of contract opportunities.
